Sri Siddhivinayaka Residential School, Hattiangadi Receives Prestigious National-level Green School Award for the Fourth Time Sri Siddhivinayaka Residential School, Hattiangadi, renowned for its commitment to quality education and eco-friendly practices, has been honored with the prestigious National-level Green School Award for the fourth time. Presented by the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), the award recognizes schools that excel in promoting environmental awareness through sustainable practices such as clean air, energy efficiency, eco-friendly food and land use, water conservation, and waste management. Among more than 9,000 participating schools across the country, our school was the only one from Udupi district to receive this recognition in the current academic year. The award ceremony was held on February 4, 2025, at the Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, where Shri Siddhi Educational Trust Secretary and Principal, Mr. Sharana Kumar, along with Administrative Officer, Mrs. Veenarashmi M., received the award from CSE Director General Sunita Narain and renowned Ladakhi educationist and environmentalist, Sonam Wangchuk.
