FSL-India mobilizes 1500 and more young people from across the globe with the support of international partners and local NGOs.
FSL-India Is headquartered in Bangalore, with regional offices in Karnataka (Bangalore, Mysore and Kundapura), Tamil Nadu (Chennai) and Pondicherry and is well equipped with experienced associates who support developmental activities across the country with the help of local and regional partners. A few years back FSL launched a youth development programme exclusively for Indian youth called 100th monkey. 100th monkey aims to develop self actualization and active citizenship to build youth forces who are conscious and competent citizens of our country.
One of the schools that is a part of the 100th monkey programme is our school. FSL is conducting the sessions for our 8th and 9th standard students on team building activities, energizers, trust building activities, food and nutrition and bodily awareness.
After a few sessions, these are the changes we found in the students:
The children have developed mutual respect for each other.
They are not fearful to participate, share their views etc.
They are more willing to push themselves out of their comfort zone.
